i used to swap out my profile pictures between different pictures of bears and it became a monthly new bear pic on my discord profile for my friends to see, and eventually i was like "spinda is close enough to a bear" and then it became characters
i thought the kricketot one would feel as "me" as spinda one did but it just hasn't brought the same ring to it. i might give it till the end of the year and do a new year new me thing but it's actually the old me
I've changed profile pics multiple times over the years but the first pokemon/character I associated with was spinda and it still feels the most iconic, but im curious if other ppl associate me with my other pfps like my current kricketot one or my dracovish plush one
To kinda paraphrase (other people are doing the hard work here and I don’t want to take credit for it), at least in the earlier gens, they seem to have written a kind of short battle profile for Pokémon (Spinda is described as “hard to hit, but can’t aim well”) with some hypothetical moves
