Blish's "Spindizzy" series has some interesting ideas, but overall, is not really implemented all that well. Not badly, just... forgettable, other than the premise of the Spindizzy itself.
I’m a long time out of Dublin but when I am up I try pop into Spindizzy in George’s st arcade(fairly central) they have a good jazz section and cater to a broad clientele. They’re sound out and will probably hip you to other places if they can’t cater to your interests.
Compilations were huge as well: I remember one that I had that had Zoids and Spindizzy on it... maybe Rogue Trooper as well? Noting down tape counters ftw.
