#4 Brookland, Red Line The neighborhood has grown up west of the station. But on the east side, bupkis. What about a few new apartments?

On Fri 9/20/24 12:02 pm the driver (64/M) of a 2010 Toyota Corolla who failed to yield right-of-way while going west on Fishers Ln at Twinbrook Pwy hit & injured a pedestrian (26/F) in a marked crosswalk. Police (MCP2047005J) found nobody at fault.

The added benefit of this one is that the Amtrack/VRE station is right there—a double benefit.

#6 Anacostia, Green Line The station entrance is now surrounded by a bus stop and well, not much else. But there’s a lot going on in the area—let’s add to the momentum by building directly above the station!

#7 King St Alexandria, Blue/Yellow Lines There’s a bus turnaround area right in front of the station. That could be moved to the ground floor of a large TOD complex. Given all the demand in Alexandria, seems like it could be a good joint development opportunity!
