5. Hades I’m a huge supergiant games fan, and while this game has their signature look and sound, what really hit for me was finding a roguelite I actually loved. The genre has always been hit/miss with me, and the way Hades brought storytelling into the gameplay loop was the missing piece.
Pyre -- The fact people are down on this (which may not be as good as Bastion or Hades but is WAY better than Transistor) is entirely due to dorks not enjoying sports, as this is basically a sports game set in fantasy land. But the world and characters are the most interesting of any SuperGiant game

In Terms of Indie Games, I'm a big Fan of Supergiant Games and Transistor holds a special place in my heart! I love the art direction and gameplay in it so much ngl
this Hades 2 update is just so amazing supergiant might be one of the best developers to ever exist
