#40YearsOfTransformers - 2001 In Beast Machines' short second year, a few characters received "take two" toys that better resembled their on-screen appearances. For example, these small tank and cycle Vehicon drone toys looked much more like the cartoon Tankor & Thrust than their first toys did.

On the villain side of things, I really like Obsidian and Strika who do a great job at pushing the Maximals to their limit through their skill and competency. While not as entertaining as Jetstorm or Tankor, their presence helps to reestablish the high stakes and tension that the show initially had.
