If the US is saying it publicly I would think we are trying to signal to the world what's going on and not just suddenly f-35s over Tehran.
Also worth mentioning that Iran fully has the rights to respond to the murder of Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran in July. And part of the reason the US is freaking out is because the US made Iran a bunch of promises in order to delay retaliation & didn’t keep them @chantalalive.bsky.social
The anticipated Iranian strike, if it were to happen, has already been delayed. The battlefield had been awaiting such a step after the killing of Haniyeh in Tehran. If it had occurred, the enemy would not have dared to attack Dahiyeh (the southern suburbs).
