But hell yes as a Texan we just need great media to support Democrats. Our state party chair is terrible. Individuals & local D party orgs have to independently buy campaign banners for all Federal candidates. I bought/paid for 4 4x7 banners & 1 5x10 - about $500x. Otherwise … nothing.

25 years ago today I met my beloved Liz at an event at the Irish Writers Centre. A French lady was also expected; I thought Liz looked très soignée, so said "bonsoir" but she said "Hello, I'm from Essex". French lady turned out to be a Texan living in Paris. Hilarity - and love - ensued.
