Hard to describe @TheZoneOfInterest as mostly a family story which is at @Auschwitz. Couldn’t follow parts of it but excellent on the mundanity of evil. Scattering of ashes in the family veg patch seems mundane, but knowing where they come from is the great horror…. #cinema#Holocaust
#TheZoneOfInterest. The film's greatest strength is the use of sound design & placing the horror of the holocaust in the background to really highlight how the Nazi family managed to detached the realty of the monstrous work the father undertook, to live their life of previlage.
