#WeekNforNumbers#AlphabetChallenge My grandfather's WWII journal, kept aboard the USS Tuscaloosa. This is his entry leading up to and including D-Day. His ship provided cover for the landing parties.

Pocket sized lined journal. Text reads: June 2, 1944 Executive officer tells us about the coming invasion of which we will be a part. June 3, 1944 Underway!! June 5, 1944 We got to "G.Q." at 2230B (6 hours ahead of E.W.T.) We are now making "the approach". June 6, 1944. D-Day Normandy!!!
