I won't be reading The Black Cat on stream 'cause it describes how the protagonist hurts the cat, but rest assured the villain gets his comeuppance at the end. Ulthar isn't as descriptive with animal violence, but Lovecraft was unfortunately xenophobic, so I won't be reading that on stream either.
Superstition says black cats are bad luck, but if The Cats of Ulthar (Lovecraft, 1920) and The Black Cat (Poe, 1845) tell us anything, it's that black cats only give you bad luck if you cause them harm. 🐈⬛ Black cat owners, give your babies extra love this spooky season. 😌

I have them working with a lot of adjacent-universe-selves, with the Dreamlands being a more unique area accessible by any of them or multiples of "one" person at a time. Mostly they're sticking to Ulthar, using it as a sort of hub.
Never too many cats in the Dreamlands. Been having some Pulp CoC characters making use of the Dreamlands - been letting them work on (homebrewed) Language: Ulthar. Terribly fun for me as a Keeper : cats have entirely different priorities than the players.

oii Bino! particularmente, eu super recomendo iniciar com contos mais curtos como Dagon, Os Gatos de Ulthar e A Cor que Caiu do Espaço pra se familiarizar com a escrita. não recomendo de jeito algum ir direto aos trabalhos mais longos dele, pois a narrativa pode ser mais chatinha e sem muito ritmo+
