Yeah I was coming in here to say as a PSU alum, this is a pretty typical points spread for them, whooping cough or not. Every couple years, one of their coaches demands they be allowed to play OSU or UofO, and then they play an exhibition game where they lose 17 to 180, regardless of the sport.

I especially and keenly loath organized intercollegiate sport. It's the tail wagging the dog. At my broke ass public university, the jock division is still praying for a football stadium. At UofO Eugene & here athletes have private deluxe study facilities; everyone else is deprived of resources .
Is the science museum and planetarium is going? It's very kid orientated but I remember it being fun every time I went, also Wow Hall may have tickets left for events on their day for small gigs. It's worth checking the public library and UofO for ticketed speakers too 💚
