In a parallel universe, VeggieTales Tactics exists.

This is like a guy complaining that the biggest problem in the world is the local planning board keeping him from building a Noah’s ark replica that he decided to build when he saw a Veggietales episode while stoned.

My favorite thing about Veggietales will always be the commentary track on the Jonah DVD. They do a full improv session in character as the Pirates Who Don't Do Anything and roast their own movie.

Former Colleague: You like Veggie Tales? But they're so .. Christian! Me: You didn't mind all that Reggae music I played when we worked together.

Now my kids (and me too) are agnostic but we have some fond memories of Veggietales. They are just really goofy cartoons with catchy goofy songs.

LOL I brought my kids up on Veggietales, having gone through a rather religious phase in my life. Honestly, they are pretty wholesome, really what Christianity should be (and usually isn’t), and they did some pretty groundbreaking 3D animation for the time.

I have never seen Veggietales, but I'm really curious what the meat is supposed to symbolize? Like obviously the veggies are Christian, but what are the burgers and such?

Retweeting LRT for being very perfectly cut and funny, refusing to allow any further VeggieTales onto my Bluesky
