A dream patch find this morning on my urban Oxford patch, with the second Marsh Tit in 6 years completely eclipsed by a #patchtickebird.org/checklist/S1...#UKbirding#patchgold#Oxonbirding

Chose to start from Greenhithe as Thames seawall a within the 'red circle' 10 mins' walking from station, giving some nice shoreline #UrbanBirding#VizMig too, Mipits, ReeBus, Siskins most obvious.. 2/x

Counted 2306 Brent south past the Naze since 11:15. And likely missed another 1000+. #VizMig#Essexbirding

Informed by @easttilburybirder (Paul Wood) of reports of small movements of bearded tit on the move at Rainham and also leaving Dunge today. Not a sp I associate with VizMig. Ever learning by watching, recording and reporting.

💥💥MY FIRST BLUESKY SOIL HILL TICK 💥💥 💥💥NUMBER 126💥💥 💥💥WIGEON💥💥 I was enjoying a delightful Soil Hill Pink-footed Goose migration morning when I spotted three small interlopers trying to sneak through among the skeins! The delights of Pennine VizMig! #SoilHillBirding

A very enjoyable morning on Soil Hill. Very little VizMig to speak of, although a Yellow Wagtail that went south is only my (and Halifax’s) 2nd of the year. The grounded migrants made up for it; 2 Sedge Warbler, 1 Grasshopper Warbler, 2 Wheatear, 3 Chiffchaff & 3 Whitethroat. #SoilHillBirding

A couple of distant squeaks this morning, reminded me to start the switch from looking down - to looking up. #vizmig is upon us. First Egyptian Geese for 4 months the best of the morning, and a record number too - 8. A couple of sightings of Hobby, Kingfisher, Yellow-legged Gull were runners up.

Egyptian Geese. Normally see them as singles, maybe up to 3, but 8 is the biggest flock over the garden, and the first since May.
