We’ve had another fantastic year thanks to the hard work and dedication of our volunteers. Huge thanks to every one of them. #VolunteersWeek#Lichfield#WeDigCanals
We recently welcomed two fantastic new volunteers; Will and Graham. We always need more people for all different roles; our workparty, green team, events team or behind the scenes. Please come and join us. lhcrt.org.uk/volunteering...#VolunteersWeek#Lichfield#WeDigCanals
We spent more than 5.8k volunteering hours on behind the scenes activities last year. This covers the unseen work, including funding bids, preparing accounts, planning applications, land, property, planning and technical meetings, liaision, and much more. #VolunteersWeek#WeDigCanals#Lichfield
It's #VolunteersWeek (3rd to 9th of June) and we have been highlighting some of the ways that the Ranger Service are supported by our teams of fantastic volunteers. Ranger Pete, with help from volunteers Will & Carrie, have been removing invasive species from around the pool at Poynton Park.
Last year, 22 corporate groups helped us, during an eight-month period, giving 543 volunteering hours. They helped build towpaths, clear canal routes, planted trees, and more. #VolunteersWeek#WeDigCanals#Lichfield
Our sales and marketing volunteers raise our profile and help to raise funds for us; from social media, our website and events. Last year, our volunteers attended twelve events, including our own Brownhills Canal Festival and Huddlesford Heritage Gathering. #VolunteersWeek#Lichfield#WeDigCanals
