Finished up the first week of school, and I'm stoked to be working with my new partner/teacher this year. In ELD, setting up routines takes time but is well worth the effort. So far in math, we have introduced WODB, Amplify Fluency, and Steve Wyborney Estimation Tasks.#edusky

Also an interesting #WODB. Do reading teachers do them with books? Also, score 2 for Grünbaum.

Each set of triangles is special, what do you notice? (With a couple examples of 30-60-90 and rt isosceles) 8th grade WODB with transformations. Nice set!

This week I had the pleasure of working with the teachers in the Ottawa Catholic School Board. We explored connections between #science#literacy#WODB#STEM#STEAM mindset!
