I'm not a big sweet wines person, and the dry wines... look, nobody's confusing Missouri with California or Tuscany or Bordeaux.
You could make the case that Europeans needed to step up their game since new world wines really were making superior stuff at the mass market and medium end of things. But I think the blind test showed they were up there with Europe at the higher end too! I kinda miss my wine importing days now. :D
