The 'wokeness' they decry is that it's body type a/b instead of male/female during character creation. I also assume you can have blue hair and, god help them, possibly pronouns.

I was done with him when he said he was making the first Joker because you "can't make comedies anymore." Because of wokeness. In a year that saw Blockers, Deadpool 2, Game Night, A Simple Favor, Sorry to Bother You...every comedy subgenre and degree of edginess imaginable.
