like it’s one thing to be an advocate of very easily accessible HRT without invalidating people who don’t want/can’t have it. there are currently multiple large accounts doing the “womanface” argument which is a TERF talking point.

Eh, tbh I actually think they're less concerned with old-style "straight drag" precisely because that's perceived as less gender non-conforming. Imo the "womanface" line is a product of their gender conservatism, not a cause of it.

I've long said that a lot of "drag" should be viewed through a similar lens to racist comedy, IE people dressing up to mock minorities they resent and see as beneath them. They do it because they're misogynists. The "womanface" line from TERFs is projection!
