I remember on twitter some transphobe getting screamingly angry with Marks & Spencer b/c the site preview on Google said, like, 'dresses, shirts & blouses, trousers & skirts, men's'. All 'You won't even say WOMAN!' But - there were more womenswear sectors. And it was Google not M&S. Just a sickness.

Interesting that Kenneth Cole’s daughter is putting out more accurate information on the number of state abortion bans than national reproductive rights orgs. 41 states ban abortion at some point in pregnancy, not 22. (Second photo of PP map annotated by @rhavote.bsky.social)

Today, Emily Cole, activist and daughter of fashion designer Kenneth Cole, launched the "We All Need Abortion" campaign, a reimagining of the original Kenneth Cole "We All Have AIDS" campaign, in support of the ongoing fight for reproductive freedom and justice. Similar to the 2005 campaign, celebrities and activists have come together for an iconic Mark Seliger photo, along with digital and social support.
"Abortion rights and access is an everyone issue, and in the midst of the most important election of our lifetimes, there has never been a more immediate need to address it out loud," said Emily Cole, Executive VP and Creative Director of Womenswear at Kenneth Cole Productions. "We live in a country where 41 states have abortion bans in effect with only limited exceptions—and 13 of those states are total bans. Meanwhile, 53% of Americans believe that abortion should be legal in all or most cases. We believe it's our responsibility to use our platform to try to change the narrative."
Photo from Planned Parenthood email blast with a map of the United States showing states with abortion bans in pink. The map says “bans have a limited some or all abortions in 22 states”
then underneath the map, there’s a note that reads “this map captures abortion bans in effect from total bans up to 20-week bans” …meaning bans on later care are literally invisible
