Update: turns out that the chart is actually wrong! (Ask me how I know...). Managed to get ONE of the bulb remnants out without dying, but now I have a slow strobe light (yes, yes, righty tighty, new bulb is definitely in fully). I think I have to give up & actually hire an electrician. *wompwomp*
