One thing I've noticed as I've tried not to use ableist, saneist or dehumanizing language is just how ubiquitous it is and how avoiding it makes your language more precise.
I’m adding “nuttso buttso” to my list of non-ableist terms to describe that sort of situation.
I was called ableist for slagging people who use door dash for every meal. It's a weird phenomenon.
If I may, we rarely tolerate discussions that question the value of not being racist or sexist or generally bigoted, so when one openly questions the value of not being ableist it may come off a particular way.
lol, lmao even like a meme come to life “holy crap what just happened? i just asked a completely insensitive and ableist question and got immediate pushback so much for the tolerant left!”
done with the abuse from every angle and black people are always last, even down to how so many leftists are racist, ableist and so willing to just accept the status quo, are fine seeing black poor people suffering and left to die
