It is ironic that I have very strong opinions about the value of play and how harmful the academization of preschool and kindergarten is....and here I am with a 4 yo who can read, write, and do 2 and 3 digit addition and subtraction.
the way you study, and the process you eventually set for yourself to do them, says as much about you as the artworks you put out, because it heavily influences who you are and who you will become. it's really just the academization of creativity that makes it feel like chore tbh
