Affinity is doing a free six month trial, I believe. It's worth checking out.
That's good to hear. Leaning heavily toward Affinity as I would love to cancel my Adobe subscription (as most photographers would!). Not sure exactly what's holding me back; I think it's probably worrying about changing my workflow.
Fuck... If Affinity and M$ word would JUST work normally without issues on HaikuOS... I'd switch OS's in a heartbeat!
I've been using Affinity Photo for about six months now and it does just about everything Photoshop does, just sometimes different steps. I do a lot of freelance graphic design and layout work still so it was my biggest pain point of Linux. Found an install script that does the hard work.
