I'm not sure I'm up for all the horrible AmRev takes that are starting to come out on social media. Luckily, @boston1775.bsky.social has a cited blog post for almost all of them.
Went out to a local pub for our 26th together anniversary and was, once again, surrounded by Americana and quotes from the AmRev. We both look like drowned rats because it started to pour as we walked in.
And yes, in the original title, 13th century warriors in early 17th century armor was about as jarring as AmRev soldiers in Brodie helmets would be.

Oh yeah, certainly both must have had some effect, and obviously we are talking an entirely different world without the AmRev, because that influences France and France and the aftermath influences Bolivar and Napoleon stirs up Central Europe and so on and so forth
