A Cycladic idol, 2500-2000BC. During the Early Bronze Age figurines were made from marble on the Cyclades, islands in the Aegean Sea. The most common are female figurines with folded arms. Most of them were found in graves.The intended purpose of these figurines remains unknown. 🏺 AncientBluesky
