At the gym this morning in Omaha I saw 3 ads for Tony Vargas (NE2) followed by 3 for Kamala Harris. Not one (even on the FoxNews and Newsmax tvs) for Trump. #annecdotal

Here's another annecdotal data point about the referee crisis: whenever I tell editors I am familiar with the author(s) and the paper, I am never asked to recuse myself from refereeing.

I certainly wouldn't trust anything written in the Mail, but equally the one GP you know is annecdotal. The whole GP system seems to be broken, with GPs unable to get work at the same time people are unable to see GPs, alongside GPs working excessive overtime and being always on the Golf Course.

One book I regret not reading before starting my #scipreneur journey: "The Founder's Dilemmas". It's a perfect mix of statistical analysis and annecdotal evidence. I could have avoided falling into so many pitfalls if I would have known about it before...

i actually somewhat disagree about your last statement. israel would still do what it’s doing in Gaza even without American dollars, it would just be with less advanced technology. it’s annecdotal, but my travels to israel and the west bank have built that belief pretty soundly.

I can step outside and literally see the border where I am. Been here for 3 years. I have seen zero migrants. Annecdotal sure, but true.

Again, I'm sure this is true of individuals--annecdotal evidence. But it's NOT true of the industry as a whole, where employment is still growing year-over-year (there WAS a drop 2019-to-2020, though--COVID):

Real Estate Industry employment 2013-2023 in thousands. Shows continuous year-over-year growth except for 2019-2020, due to COVID.

I asked for gov't data, not handwaving at imagined annecdotal data.

Annecdotal, but to be observed - situational acute shortages / disturbed supply chain (pandemic) -> desperate purchasing -> opportunistic price increases -> markets not used to price increasing doing so -> noticing it is accepted -> pushing further -> higher profits. But ....
