I spent around 4 months ‘chatting’ with an elderly woman - she may have been the head of the village’s wife. I was baffled that I had no idea what she was saying, but she seemed to enjoy the chat. Turned out it wasn’t Javanese, it was aphasia

The positive argument here is that adding alt text is a really good little brain exercise that helps against the whole aphasia shit. Since I started to do it consistently my writing ability has been slowly but surely getting easier to mobilize.

In some ways, this gives me comfort. There is a vast army of soft undecideds out there and some have fact aphasia like these folks. But there are others for whom its just pure vibes and I think a lot of them can see Trump-Vance are giant, unpleasant nerds
my TBI causes me aphasia in speaking and writing as well as erasing entire words and clauses from my brain from sentences as I type them and I cannot read them as incorrect after the fact I am /ALWAYS/ grateful to my mutuals who just translate it, try to use context to figure it out, or just ask.

It's really weird to me how NOT taking vitamins and fish oil effects my memory recall and aphasia so drastically. I feel much more... Capable? When I do take multivitamins. It's super weird to me.
