these biggies i got from a stranger who said the plant was dying i transplanted it into a new pot and they started sprouting within a few weeks of it; im so stoked but they haven’t matured past this stage for weeks now and i blame aphids ☹️

Yesterday evenings mini-project was to check Field Maple trees on my way home to look for Scarce Maple Aphid, Drepanosiphum aceris. I eventually managed to find one. This species looks similar to several other aphids on Acer species, but has a dark tip to the wing amongst other features.
