Battle for Azeroth got me to level a 2nd character to max level by having two entirely separate main campaigns in different zones for the Horde and Alliance. I wanted to experience all the story! You can go to the enemy's zone but you can't do their quests!

the one i was most proud of, at least in terms of concept, was the Fate/Warcraft idea: a Holy Grail War set on Azeroth with its Heroic Spirits—Saber Arthas Menethil, Lancer Cairne Bloodhoof, Caster Kael’thas, Rider Fandral Staghelm, Berserker Grom Hellscream, & Archer Sylvanas w/ her Master…Sylvanas
Doing the responsible thing and not staying up all night playing WoW and instead going to lay down in bed and -try- to sleep for work tomorrow. But I'll be thinkin' about WoW. They killed my boy. I will burn Azeroth to the ground.

Back during end of Legion and early BFA, I had an idea for a dark troll/kaldorei "proto-drust" druid, who died back when the Well of Eternity was halfway to turning the trolls into elves, then later resurrected by some azerite magic or whatever after Sargeras stabbed Azeroth.
