I think what a lot of people forget about apps like @bsky.app is that "twitter" was started as a "micro-blogging" app, not a conversational app. I think treating Bluesky like that may yield some interesting results. Including backlinks and SEO.

So in this case, the person with the new site (knowyoursins .com) hired someone to do their marketing, probably off one of those gig sites like Fiverr, and got someone whose "I will build more backlinks for you" method is this scam. There's a slightly less unethical one too: bsky.app/profile/raha...

Remember when you could just check backlinks using link: in Google, and you could know without a lot of SEO hoo ha what got broken when some page disappeared?

…is sufficient deviation from their theme to make it usable elsewhere, like Weblog.LOL, where I’d have the permalinks I want, and search, although if I wanted backlinks they’d still have to be manual.
