A male ring-necked duck was on Windermere from Borrans Park this morning, a first for the patch taking the total to 140 and my 113th species personally. Also a great white egret dropped in briefly before flying S/SW down Windermere. Full list - ebird.org/checklist/S1...#BirdingUK#patchbirding

A good count of twelve Yellow Wagtails at the Alt Estuary, Merseyside, yesterday morning. Also seven White Wagtails, including a ringed bird. Juv Curlew Sandpiper again with Ringed Plovers and a fem/imm Marsh Harrier flew south at 1035 #BirdingUK
