Oh I was a rabid BNL fan in the ‘90s. Still love them today! They are easily the group I’ve seen in concert the most.

Love Joel Plaskett. Saw him play support for BNL on one of their UK tours back in the day, and I've followed him ever since.

i have never forgotten the time they did this and had the Barenaked Ladies host but immediately realized the issue with having a band with that name headlining a saturday morning children's cartoon bloc so they just referred to them as "BNL"

I went back to the old apartment (humming some BNL on the way) and saw the handrail was fixed. And the rickety and dangerous front steps were replaced with brand new ones. Only took them 4 years. 4 yrs of incompetence and mismanagement. My feedback will not be kind.

is *that* where Steven Page went after BNL? I always wondered what happened to him.

BNL are a fantastic live band. I miss Steven Page though.

I was a fan of BNL since 1991 with their indie release, The Yellow Tape. If I Had a $1000000 made it from that album to their first album with a major label. There is something nostalgic about this song that always makes me smile. youtu.be/aynCgnbbgbM?...
