It's literally an interdimensional being creating TV shows with real people and treating the stars as just expendable (to the point of death). A lot of things start inter-community and then once it gets out, people mangle it and misinterpret it (like bootstraps).

Saw a bumper sticker yesterday that said "Stop Global Whining" I agree with them, every one of those people in those red counties that got destroyed should just stop whining. Pull themselves up by their bootstraps and clean up because this definitely won't happen again.
