Up the field tending to the horses. Not the most practical of vehicles for the job but…. early #porscheboxster#porsche#porscheboxster#boxster#porsche986#diedeutschenklassiker#boxsterhardtop#heuerheritage#boxsters

I drove one of those newer 4-cylinder 718 boxsters a while back and that was a genuinely impressive little car.

Well, those are a personal preference thing obviously, but at more than two tonnes it's not as agile or responsive as 911s and Boxsters that weigh half a tonne or more less either. Porsche's good at this stuff but hasn't yet conquered simple physics.

Man Boxsters might lowkey look enormous next to these, in a very good way Hope you do!

Could very well be, the early 3.4s are supposed to be a nightmare on Caymans with both of these issues. I am interested in the early cable throttle Boxsters but yeah the MPG difference between a 2.5 and a 3.2 is supposed to be staggering on the completely opposite way you were expecting!

There’s a reason why ‘09+ direct injected Boxsters and Caymans are worth twice the money…

from what i've heard the 986 is pretty pricy to maintain, but the later generations are a bit more reliable. issue is that i can only afford 1st gen boxsters lmao. maybe i should just stay in my lane and get a miata.

Also, I'm trying to think of another but Porsche might be the only car maker who put out their own game. Iirc it's all Boxsters

I think canonically Hank had a thing for little euro boxsters back in the day, so he absolutely counts!
