I painted potato blight (Phytophthora infestans) for the August illustration of the BSPP plant pathogens calendar.

The painting shows a potato stem infected with potato blight. The plant has four compound leaves. There are lesions present on the lower leaves, whereas the upper leaves have wilted and dried up. A potato is visible in the top-right corner, with dark brown lesions present.
