First, he tried busking at the community center, and though there were some appreciative (or maybe pitying) sims who threw him some coins, he quickly decided that wasn’t the route to take. Then he tried his hand at writing, and managed to write two children’s books, but those flopped. By then Camron was in the routine of going to the community center each day. After all, other townies often cooked nice meals outside, there was free internet access through their computers as well as clean bathrooms. It was on one such visit, as Camron gazed at the skyline from the rooftop garden, that he overheard the grumblings of another sim.

The town says they’re cutting funding for garden maintenance, unless there’s a miracle these plants will be left to wither and die. And I just hate to see that happen, it’s so good to have a garden around, you know? It at least helps the local bees! But you didn’t ask for a whole litany, I’m sorry-” “

Camron spent the rest of his evening going over the ropes with the gardener, learning the best ways to water and harvest all of the plants, finding out where the tools and bug spray were stored, and getting tips for fertilizers and other forms of care for each plant. At the end of the day, he had the knowledge and starting plants to start a sizable garden of his own.”
