I keep hearing that Americans don’t use electric kettles but here in Canada everybody seems to have one. I’ve never been at a cabin that didn’t have one either. Maybe there actually are real differences between the two countries after all, but that sounds like a stretch. That is her going rate, that is what she charged the Log Cabin Republican group. #NotSurprised.

Wow, those comics would have been a treasure to read in a cabin on the woods! At school I read a lot of the classics, like Wells, Verne, and Shelley.

I got Poe from school library at 6 or 7 - couldn't get a hold of King until I was 12 But we had a collection of 300 comic books at our family cabin with lots of the old creepy ones - good cabin in the woods reading for a kid

I have to tell my folks about this. The Burnett Dairy is right by their cabin. They make excellent ice cream too, if you’re ever in the neighborhood.

Also, when the monster encounters the cabin in the woods with the blind man, I'm always momentarily taken aback that it isn't Gene Hackman. Young Frankenstein is also a masterpiece.
