Took a small break from the big green quilt (need to buy batting to finish it but i hate Buying) and been practicing various hand quilting & embroidery on this trash swatch #chuuurlsewing
and this morning I sewed sample of/photo'd/mocked up 3 blocks of "serendipity" quilt(s) (a pattern I did not make up.) Basically sew/trim process of one produces the other. look it up. I won't explain. #chuuurlsewing
I was feeling pretty sick yesterday so for a light activity I arranged my cache of project rejects/Cartoon blocks into a quilt top layout #chuuurlsewing

speaking of sewing, I also fixed up this soft cup bra today—I took in the band/gore at an inward-to-chest angle & it fixed everything that was weird & fugly about the fit. For years it was nothing more than a commemorative item of sadness & regret. Now it’s clothing! #chuuurlsewing
I hand quilt most of my quilts in a non fastidious way--this one is the same—but I do it over a long period of time after binding the edge so that I can use them / do the quilting in bed whenever I feel up to it VS The Floor Hurting / finish NOW method here #chuuurlsewing
Most punishing quilt so far. points don’t match up even tho I took great care w seam allowance—type a shit that make you wanna scream & leave town forever. Keeping the back wrinkle free is like fighting God & forces me to quilt it 100% before binding (usually not the case) #chuuurlsewing
