I have a Miele dishwasher and vacuum cleaner, both as as basic as possible. The vacuum cleaner is a pull along rather than an upright and has a bag, a cord and interchangeable heads. We went through 3 bag less cleaners in ten years keeping it basic helps.
(I have not counted the vacuum cleaners. I think we are also on number three, there.)
Be kind to cleaners. They are the only thing stopping us from writhing around in our own filth.
