I had dyed black hair at the time & a slightly darker complexion so it must’ve made me look vaguely ‘exotic’ somehow. A girlfriend I had at the time also said she’d thought I might be Turkish haha My brother & I still laugh at the weird logic of him getting bullied for being “the Jew’s brother” 🙈

Holy shit, that's awful. Fucking hell. I have a dark complexion and colouring and people often think I'm eastern european. I also wondered if they thought I was from a traveller community.
