Being 15 at the time I was a little too old for the show, but had many a visit to Bourton on the Water where the Cotswold Motoring Museum always had the original "Brum" on display.

A blue hare! - A hare featured in a Roman mosaic floor discovered just inside the eastern city wall, part of a very impressive town house. The hare mosaic is now in the Corinium Museum #Hare#Cirencester#Mosaic#Roman#Tradition#Cotswoldjhm.scilla.org.uk/2024/10/01/i...

Hares have become something of a feature in the town. Recently the hare tradition has spread to the Cotswolds more generally too.

I will never get bored of the walk from Chipping Campden to Dover’s Hill

View back to Chipping Campden over fields with Cotswold Way fingerpost in the foreground
View north from Dover’s Hill over the Avon Valley towards Birmingham, with toposcope in the foreground
View west from Dover’s Hill towards the Severn Valley and Malvern
