I’m done taking photos for now. The last few are excellent. If I wake up at some point in the next few hours I may run out for more pictures. #whidbeyisland#aurora
Whidbey has so much great stuff! Visit Sea Bre's Yarn in Coupeville if you can; it's a great side trip from Fort Casey
Watched Practical Magic last night because we'd never seen it and there's rumors they're filming a sequel soon on our island. It was so weird to see Coupeville twenty years ago, and we both went "there's the ice cream shop!" in one scene 😂

Looks like it. My aunt used to live in Coupeville —I only visited her once there but recall it as serene and beautiful.
Opposite Coupeville is the Ebey Reserve, a vast beach, forest, and farmland that celebrates the lower Salish tribes and the landing of settlers in that area. Ebey Beach was spectacular today and features a 4 mile hike up top down to the sandy rocky shore. The path is upper right on the ridge.
Salmagundi Farm in Coupeville is a hoot. These folks collect from old establishments and estate sales, and their offerings are varied and always fun.
