She goes off to Nargothrond, and runs into Curufin and Celegorm, the sons of Feanor. They decide one of them will marry her. They imprison her in Nargothrond.
The sons (Curufin and Celegorm) agree, and point out that anyone who keeps a Silmaril from the sons, be he Man or Elf, Vala or [insert species here] will be hunted to the end of the world. Most of Finrod's court are too scared to go, so Finrod takes off his crown and says 'fine, screw you all'.
