Worry less about groundhogs & more about chipmunks. The ones around here are fuzzy arseholes who like to evict spring bulbs from beds. On the other hand nothing particularly touches daffodils except ants. Hopefully you have better luck than I did with Hyacinths—I always got the saddest floppers.

Put in more bulbs this week. Hyacinths, daffodils, and english blue bells. It’s weird to think of them just buried in the ground now and waiting for Spring. I hope the squirrels or groundhogs don’t dig them up but I’m a big fan of groundhogs, so if it helps one get through the winter, it’s ok :) 🌱
