just deep disagreement, even if you feel in the end history is a rather qualitative science/analysis surely the extraction of more information would give us a richer and more interesting story than a stale one-dimensional one.
Yeah, the sense I get is that they don't see much of a chance of a positive outcome either way even in the short term. But it seems no one is in disagreement that the US could at least end the short term violence with a US embargo of weapons to Israel.
