DKC2 is a great comfort game for me as well! Honestly, all the SNES DKC games are that way for me. The vibe, aesthetic, music, etc. are all very comforting.

8: Donkey Kong Country. Yet again, back to the Day Care center I went to as a kid, I had a friend that brought SNES games to play, and Donkey Kong Country 1, 2 and 3 were some of the games she brought. I'd say DKC2 is my favorite of the three.

1. Donkey Kong Country 2 - I loved all of the DKC games on the SNES (yes, even 3), but I have more fun memories with 2! I loved the pirate theme, Diddy and Dixie Kong were fun to control, and the music was simply amazing! If you love 2D platformers, give it a try! #dkc2#snes

8. Fire Emblem Probably the runner-up to DKC2 for me, this is pretty much THE game of my pre-teen years. The story captivated me, and I loved the characters. I only played this because of Smash, not even knowing it was a strategy game, but this started my... complex love of this series as a whole.

#16 Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest The DKC Trilogy is GOATed but the DKC2 is my favorite. The addition of Dixie's mid-air spin was revolutionary at the time. The music has lived in my soul rent-free for 3 decades.

4. Donkey Kong Country 3 This game is comfort food for my brain! I think DKC2 has a better OST overall, but DKC3 is just cosy. I didn't get very far as a small baby child, BUT when I did 100% it for the first time as an older teen, I lost my mind at the goddamn helicopter+banana bird stuff LOL
