We were at war then. War as defined in the UN charter. Germany were doing the same to our towns i hate the idea we had to carpet bomb towns,but most of these were towns with high industrial and dockland facilities feeding into the war efforts. Someone should have been jailed for the Dresden outrage

It was RAF base in the 70s. Built on and "developed" many years ago when they pulled out of there. My best friend used to live on the base at one point. It's obviously got to the point where it need re-developing again. Bit like the area I now live in London! Ex-dockland regenerated in the 80s.
