Use lots of melted butter between layers with intermittent layers of nut and spice mixtures & bake till golden...drizzle good honey over and serve (i like cream enriched yoghurt with mine)

A recipe I had shared back on the other place that's simple and delicious is roast acorn squash Halve it and pull out your seeds I like to place them in glass baking dishes Put pats of salted butter in each, then drizzle with maple syrup(the darker the better,) fill w cider 350ยฐ until soft
We spent most of the morning in the drizzle clearing up leaves and those flying seeds I call the demon seeds with wings. No fun getting them out of the gravelled driveway. Canโt think why because we are just making room for the next time we have strong wind, but I canโt stand the mess.
