"Night in the desert" 🌌 Velociraptor mongoliensis #paleoart#velociraptor#dromaeosauridae#theropods#dinosaurs#digitalart#art
Me (to a girl): "Cool raptor tattoo." Guy, talking over me: "Actually it's Velociraptor. Raptor just means any dinosaur with a hook claw." Me: "You mean Dromaeosauridae? That's not an exclusive trait, there's also Troodontidae. Or were you under the impression that 'raptor' refers to 'Paraves'?"
Deltadromeus não era da "família dos raptores" (se está se referindo à Dromaeosauridae), ele era provavelmente um noassaurídeo...
Used to be Triceratops, but as an adult I’ve become more fasciated by Dromaeosauridae and Troodontidae, so lets say Troodon for now.

- few tail vertebrae! They're fragmentary remains, but enough to identify it as a dromaeosaurid! It's actually quite valuable to knowledge of the Dromaeosauridae group, as it's one of the earlier members of the family, showing how the group evolved and how diverse it was! (2/2) Art by Gabriel N. U!
Ok I was wondering bc he is small but I’m wasn’t sure if which dromaeosauridae :P
