Another solid entry- Enjoyed all three tales, but "The Perfect Pearlā from Amy Roy, Claire Roe, and Brittany Peer really got me. A concise, escalating look at domestic power imbalance and the inescapable, everyday horrors of one-sided relationships. And check out that James Stokoe cover!
We already wrote the big epitaphs whenever Musk bought the thing but after nearly a decade of use and building up my entire social circle via Irish Twitter, finally deleting it does feel like a significant milestone but also a reality check that we're far too reliant on it to the point of hindrance.
How crazy is it those were the two books waiting in the pull box. Happy coincidence. I also picked up a copy of new issue of Epitaphs from the Abyss off the stand, so all in all it was a worthwhile trip.
